Step 7: Mix FlexKrete with Sand
After the site has been primed, prepare enough FlexKrete to repair the site. This includes mixing a known amount of FlexKrete with the appropriate amout of catalyst and blasting sand (for FlexKrete-catalyst ratios refer to bottle or catalyst instruction sheet). For flatwork, the ratio of FlexKrete to sand is 1:3-4. The final product should have a consistency similar to thick oatmeal. For vertical work, mix 1 part FlexKrete with 3.5 parts sand and 1 part cabosil. The consistency of this mixture will be thicker than that of the previous flatwork mixture, more similar to play-doh. Make sure to mix thoroughly.
