Step 2: Cleaning with Wire Brush on Angle Grinder
After removing the loose concrete from and around the site, use a wire brush attached to an angle grinder to further remove loose debris. Move the brush in a circular motion, using the edge of the brush to get into deep cracks. The wire brush is also used to clean and prep the concrete for priming. Again, move the brush in a circular motion in the site as well as a few inches around the site on all sides. Regular gray concrete will turn slightly white when it has been sufficiently cleaned.
